Wisconsin Internship Consortium in Professional Psychology

Requirements for Completion of the WICPP Internship

To successfully satisfy all requirements of the internship, interns will have:
  1. Successfully completed 2000 total internship hours, including
    • 500 hours of direct face-to-face service delivery to clients
    • 800 hours of other direct service for the purposes of providing psychological services (e.g., time for case notes, chart review, readings and research for a case, report writing, tape review, studying test results, case consultation, and other similarly relevant experiences).
    • 200 hours of supervision
  2. Demonstrated minimal competence in foundational and functional competencies identified on the Final Intern Evaluation. In particular, interns will have:
    • Received a rating of “3” or “competence at expected level of development” or higher by individual supervisors on the Intern Evaluation Form for identified competencies by the end of the internship
    • Received a rating of “3” or “competence at expected level of development” or higher by group supervisor on the Intern Evaluation Form for identified competencies by the end of the internship
  3. Completed one presentation in the Multicultural Seminar
  4. Completed two formal case presentations in the Group Supervision Seminar
  5. Completed one presentation in the Intern Seminar
  6. Successfully completed all paperwork related to clients
  7. Completed and submitted the following to the Director of Training:
    • all monthly logs
    • Intern Self-Evaluation Form
    • all Intern Evaluation Forms
    • All Supervisor Evaluation Forms
    • Evaluation of Director of Training
    • Evaluation of Consortium
